Job summary
Gundersen Health System is seeking a casual on-call Certified Athletic Trainer to provide on-site medical coverage for contracted schools and events in Washington. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
You’ll perform injury triage, clinical evaluation, immediate care and rehabilitation in collaboration with a broad athletics medicine team, supporting preventive education and outreach programs. Relocation assistance is available to eligible candidates and a comprehensive benefits package
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine or a related field.
- Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by NATA-BOC.
- Licensed Athletic Trainer - Wisconsin (LAT).
- Willing to apply for Minnesota Board of Medical Practice licensure.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (AHA/ARC).
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site medical coverage for events, team practice, and competitions.
- Triage injuries, perform clinical evaluation and diagnosis, and deliver immediate injury care.
- Support prevention education, and rehabilitation services within scope of practice.
- Assist with outreach for 28 area schools and associated athletic programs.
