Qualifications

• Six months of satisfactory experience driving a CMV passenger bus of 26,001 GVWR or greater with an air brake system.
• Liberal knowledge of diesel bus operating methods and maintenance is desirable.
• Valid Michigan CDL with P endorsement and clean driving record required.
• Able to work flexible hours for split runs or charter operations.
• Experience following itineraries and using GPS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive a university bus on chartered runs and scheduled routes.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete inspection documents.
• Report mechanical issues or delays to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe bus interior and wash buses and related vehicles.
