Compass Group USA's Restaurant Associates is seeking an on-call Catering Captain at the SSF Commissary in South San Francisco, CA. You will coordinate catering staff schedules and ensure functions are delivered, served and cleared promptly.

The role may involve food preparation supervision and driving to delivery sites. One to two years catering captain experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license may be required. Pay is $30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• One to two years of catering captain experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license may be required and appropriate permits may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules and ensures functions are delivered, served and cleared on time.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Interacts with customers and resolves issues in a service-oriented manner.
