Job summary

SYNERGY Home Care of Cape Fear is seeking a Rapid Response Care Professional to join our on-call team, handling urgent client coverage and filling schedule gaps due to call-offs or emergencies. You will be scheduled for on-call periods and receive a flat-rate stipend for availability, plus hourly pay when activated to work a shift.

This role rewards dependability, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality care in time-sensitive situations.

Qualifications

• Ages 18+.
• No experience is required. Willing to train the right candidate.
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have reliable transportation (valid driver's license and auto insurance will be requested)

Responsibilities

• Provide attention to the client's non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement.
• Assist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers.
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts
• Other duties as assigned
