Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care to frail or disabled adults.
• California Home Health Aide or CNA certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate in Cantonese and simple English.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and pass TB clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certificates must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services under nursing staff supervision.
• Escorts participants between the group vans and the center.
• Monitors participants’ conditions and reports unusual observations.
• Encourages and assists participants in activities and plans events.
• Prepares snacks, beverages and meals; portions food per standards.
• Distributes meals and discards leftovers according to policy.
• Assists in cleaning up after meals.
