Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking an On-call Cardiac Cath and EP Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies. The role requires scrubbing/assisting the physician and recording/hemodynamic monitoring readings during procedures.

The ideal candidate has Cardiac Cath/EP experience; ARRT RT credential and Kentucky license are required, with BLS at hire and ACLS/PALS/CET within 6 months. This is an on-call position within our radiology department.

Qualifications

• Preferred Cardiac Cath/EP experience; rad tech experience acceptable.
• Demonstrates knowledge of interventional, structural, pediatric and electrophysiology procedures.
• Understands hemodynamic measurements and readings from valve areas.

Responsibilities

• Scrub/assist physician during diagnostic and interventional Cardiac and Peripheral angiographic studies.
• Record and monitor procedures and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements.
• Provide adequate call coverage per departmental need.
