Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking an On-call Radiology Technologist specialized in Cardiac Cath and EP procedures. You will scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies, and record hemodynamic data during procedures.

The role requires knowledge of Interventional, Structural, Pediatric, and electrophysiology workflows, with licensing in Kentucky and ARRT RT credentials.

Qualifications

• AS degree in radiologic technology.
• Minimum 2 years related radiology experience.
• Licenses: KY State Radiation Operators; ARRT RT; BLS at hire; ACLS/PALS/CET within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to regularly lift, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to and over 50 lbs.; occasionally stand or walk with objects weighing up to 25 lbs.; regularly perform tasks requiring repetitive motions; and occasionally sit at a computer workstation for an extended period of time.

Shift On Call

Job Summary On-call Cardiac Cath and EP Technologist will demonstrate knowledge of Interventional, Structural, Pediatric, and Electrophysiology procedures. Technologist will scrub/assist the physician during diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac and Peripheral angiographic studies. The technologist is also able to record and monitor procedures and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and readings from the valve areas. Technologist will provide adequate call coverage per departmental need.
