Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky is seeking an EP Tech I to support cardiology procedures under a licensed cardiologist. You will operate radiographic and related imaging equipment, assist in EP studies and ablations, and help ensure patient safety and quality imaging.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing education, and mentorship within our EP lab. Two years RT experience or one year in cath lab is expected; CPR certification is required, with opportunities for growth and internal mobility.

Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Two year RT experience or one year in cath lab/special procedure tech.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic, digital, processing and viewing equipment for high-quality images.
• Assist in mapping system and ablation generator operations; apply radiation safety principles.
• Serve as first assistant during EP studies, ablation procedures and device implantations.
• Review pre-procedural assessments and communicate pertinent data to MD for imaging and safety.
• Educate new employees and mentor students in the EP lab.
• Support performance improvement activities in the EP lab and maintain implantable device databases.
• Perform duties in age-appropriate and diverse patient populations.
