Job summary

University of Notre Dame is seeking temporary/on-call Servers for Rohr's in our campus Hospitality department within the UOES division. As a Server, you provide prompt, courteous service, greet guests, describe offerings, and ensure accurate orders.

Key duties include serving with warmth, handling payments, and collaborating with kitchen and bar staff. Pay rate is $3/hr plus tips, with equal opportunity employment and commitments to a Catholic identity.

Qualifications

• Must manage time effectively with minimal supervision.

• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods.
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and enthusiastically.
• Describe and explain food and beverage offerings.
• Accurately create guest orders and relay to kitchen and bar.
• Serve items to guests according to high standards.
• Present checks and handle payments efficiently.
• Carry items using trays and move between dining rooms, kitchen, and bar.
• Perform necessary accounting processes to meet server banking standards.
