Job summary

Zito Media is seeking a Service Installation Technician to perform routine installations, disconnects, and troubleshooting of cable, high-speed internet, phone services, and end-user equipment. You will also instruct subscribers in basic use of equipment and services and may be on-call during evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include installing services, completing work orders, diagnosing faults through the subscriber line to equipment, and communicating clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Friendly, patient, and diplomatic demeanor with good communication skills.
• Basic computer troubleshooting including email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install cable TV, internet, and phone services.
• Complete and submit all assigned work orders.
• Identify and fix faults from subscriber drop to equipment.
• Communicate with customers about reception problems and services.
• Apply technical knowledge to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Travel may be required to cover shifts or outages.
