Job summary

Bonneville Seattle is seeking an On-Call (Fill In) Board Operator to manage the studio console, ensure clean, timely on-air content, and support both live and automated programming. The role requires attention to FCC rules, reliability, and flexibility to cover varied shifts.

You will edit audio, post podcasts, and assist with content for digital platforms while coordinating with producers and engineers. A strong audio-editing background and team mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Reliable with flexibility to work weekdays, overnights, weekend hours.
• Ability to reach the stations in under two hours to cover on call shifts.
• Excellent accuracy and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in broadcast audio editing and production tools.

Responsibilities

• Own on-air console operations to ensure smooth airing and accurate logs.
• Troubleshoot studio equipment and report issues promptly.
• Edit and post podcasts; coordinate music and sound for shows.
• Support talk show producers with content for social media.
• Work with engineers and program staff to meet FCC requirements.
