Job summary

Audacy DC is seeking a talented Board Operator to run the control board, arrange and play commercials and IDs according to the program and logs, while ensuring FCC compliance and station format. The role requires experience with digital editing tools and studio board operation, and willingness to work evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

HS diploma or equivalent is required; on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience running a studio board and editing with Adobe Audition.
• Radio experience with sound board operation and guest booking.
• Experience with digital OS such as Media Touch, Audio Vault, Enco or Profit.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to the program and logs, following applicable laws and FCC regulations
• Help administer contests, answer listener phone calls, screen listener calls for live shows, operate satellite receivers, take transmitter readings, conduct EAS tests, etc.
• Must be detail-orientated person available to work evenings, overnights, weekends, vacation fill-in and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by Management
