Job summary

Nadia Care in Maryland seeks a certified Birth Doula to partner with expectant mothers, leading two prenatal visits and supporting them through active labor. You will coordinate with the care team to address social needs and document interactions in real time.

This contract role offers a flexible schedule across Greater Baltimore, with on-call labor support and virtual prenatal visits to reach moms where they are. Prior Medicaid eligibility and strong cultural sensitivity are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Birth Doula with current credentials.
• Active Medicaid provider in Maryland’s ePREP system.
• Deep knowledge of childbirth, pain management, and breastfeeding.

Responsibilities

• Build connection in two prenatal visits and educate on labor positions and birth plans.
• Be on-call to support clients during active labor.
• Communicate with care team to elevate clinical and social needs from prenatal visits.
• Maintain clear documentation of all care interactions.
