Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license.
• Must be at least 21-years of age.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external guests effectively.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification.
• Familiarity and product knowledge of beverages, wines, and garnishes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal and external guest service in line with the Boyd Gaming Way.
• Maintain the bar stock and keep supply areas organized.
• Assist bartender with tasks, stock liquor/beers/wines, and bar cleanliness.
• Check IDs to verify age for alcohol purchase.
• Take beverage orders from staff or guests and deliver orders timely.
• Measure drinks using Berg system or a jigger and serve accordingly.
• Receive and deliver orders to appropriate venue/bar.
• Observe Health Department regulations and comply with liquor rules.
• Handle payments for drink orders through the POS system promptly.
• Keep glassware, utensils, and bar equipment clean and organized.
• Attend training programs and maintain professional appearance.
