Job summary

Salish Lodge & Spa is seeking an on-call Banquet Bartender to craft cocktails and deliver exceptional beverage experiences in a refined setting. You will mix drinks, maintain bar presentation, operate equipment, and handle guest payments with accuracy.

The role requires knowledge of liquor laws, cash handling, and familiarity with POS systems. State licenses and a commitment to service excellence complete the profile.

Qualifications

• One year of related education, training, or experience.
• Ability to use a computerized Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Skill in mixing and serving a wide variety of drinks.
• Knowledge of operating bar equipment.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and cash handling procedures.
• Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes.
• Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks.
• Ensure attractive and consistent presentation of food and beverage.
• Operate bar equipment properly.
• Stock and maintain bar per procedures; process guest payments with proper cash handling.

What You Bring:

• At least one year of related education, training and/or experience.
• Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system.
• Working knowledge and ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks.
• Working knowledge of the proper operation of all bar equipment.
• Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
• Working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures.
• Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required
