Job summary

Salish Lodge & Spa in Snoqualmie, WA is seeking an on-call Banquet Server to help craft exceptional dining experiences for events at our iconic Pacific Northwest resort.

You will take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure presentation and temperatures meet our high standards while efficiently handling guest payments and POS input.

Qualifications

• Takes orders and serves food and beverages to guests per established standards.
• Enters orders into the POS system and relays special requests to the kitchen.
• Assembles food items such as appetizers, salads and soups.
• Keeps food and beverage presentation attractive and items at correct temperatures.
• Maintains current knowledge of offerings and menu changes.
• Processes guest payments using proper cash handling procedures.
• Keeps the work area and guest dining area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Processes guest payments, using proper accounting and cash handling procedures.

What You Bring

• Previous experience as banquet server
• Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
• Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
• Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
• Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)
