Job summary

AC Hotel Cleveland Circle, a Colwen Hotels property, seeks an experienced On Call Bartender to join our restaurant and banquet events team. You will be the face of our bar, delivering friendly service, crafting drinks, and ensuring guests have memorable experiences.

Requirements include at least one year of bartending, TIPS certification, ability to operate POS, and the flexibility to work a 7-day rotation, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of bartending experience.
• TIPS certification or state equivalent required within 30 days if expired.
• Able to operate a point-of-sale system.
• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and/or service.
• Able to remain calm with difficult guests.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and service focus.
• Must meet legal age requirements.
• Willing to work 7-day rotating schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly service at the bar and during banquets.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and menu items.
• Oversee bar stock and supplies; manage guest checks and payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of glassware, bar area, and equipment.
• Promote drink specials and upsell beverages while adhering to liquor laws.
