Job summary

The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North is seeking a Banquet Setup Associate to prepare and reset meeting spaces to guest specifications. You will transport and arrange tables, chairs, podiums and other equipment, may move up to 100 lbs, and stock meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water, ensuring everything is in place before guest arrivals and during breaks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms.
• Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, podiums up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to move goods up to 500 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest.
• Transport and arrange tables, chairs, podiums and other equipment, up to 100 lbs.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down meeting rooms and return items to storage for the next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms.
