Job summary

The University of Notre Dame is hiring on-call/temporary Banquet Servers for Three Leaf Catering and The Morris Inn in our Hospitality department. Responsibilities include food service, maintaining cleanliness, and following food safety procedures.

The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and can manage time effectively with minimal supervision. The pay rate for this position is $17.50 per hour, plus gratuity.

Qualifications

• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare table service for functions as per direction of the Banquet Captain.
• Professionally serve banquet functions; serving food and pouring beverages.
• Participate in equipment removal following meal service.
• Follow established guidelines for the safe handling of food.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean.
