Job summary

Salish Lodge & Spa is seeking a Club Attendant/Bartender to deliver elevated, personalized service at Club 268. Responsibilities include bartending, food presentation, stocking, cleaning, and opening/closing duties in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong guest-service skills, ability to work independently, and flexibility to cover mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Washington state permit requirements apply.

Qualifications

  • Restaurant/hotel/bar experience preferred.
  • Bartending or beverage-service experience preferred.
  • Confident in preparing classic cocktails.
  • Safely handle food and alcoholic beverages per requirements.
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge and guest interaction skills.
  • Ability to work independently after training.
  • High organization, attention to detail, and multitasking.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, personalized service at Club 268 and guide guests through offerings.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and food to standards.
  • Complete opening/closing duties and maintain a guest-ready environment.
  • Monitor inventory, replenish stock, and follow FIFO procedures.
  • Communicate with Food & Beverage leadership and supporting departments.
  • Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and Salish Lodge & Spa standards.

Club Attendant/Bartender | Salish Lodge & Spa

The Club Attendant is responsible for creating an elevated, personalized experience for guests of Club 268, providing attentive food and beverage service while maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of the Club throughout the shift. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently, takes ownership of their space, and can balance guest interaction, bartending, food presentation, stocking, cleaning, and opening/closing responsibilities.

What Success Looks Like
  • Provide warm, personalized service and guide guests through Club 268 food and beverage offerings
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food items according to service standards
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including full setup, breakdown, and securing designated areas
  • Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready environment throughout the shift
  • Monitor inventory, replenish back stock, follow FIFO procedures, and complete required consumption tracking
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns while maintaining professional and attentive service
  • Communicate effectively with Food & Beverage leadership and supporting departments
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and Salish Lodge & Spa standards
  • Work independently while prioritizing guest service and operational responsibilities
What You Bring
  • Previous restaurant, hotel, lounge, club, or food and beverage experience preferred
  • Bartending or beverage-service experience preferred
  • Ability to confidently prepare classic cocktails
  • Safely handle food and alcoholic beverages in accordance with applicable requirements
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge
  • Confidence and comfort engaging with guests and creating memorable experiences
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to work effectively and efficiently independently
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities without constant supervision
  • Demonstrate urgency while maintaining polished service
  • Enjoys providing elevated hospitality in an intimate guest environment.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision after completion of training
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with food and beverage service
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must obtain and maintain a current Washington State Food Worker Card (Food Handler Permit)
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid MAST Class 12 Permit
