Job summary

The Hilton Columbus/Polaris, a Crescent Hotels & Resorts managed property, seeks an On-Call Banquet Server to join our events team. You will set up banquet rooms, serve food and beverages, and maintain hospitality standards in a guest‑focused, courteous manner.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Friendly, guest-service oriented and team player.
• Professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, etiquette, and table settings.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate basic beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, silverware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings to learn event details.
• Greet guests and respond to requests courteously.
• Serve food and beverages according to supervisor's instructions.
• Replenish beverages and check overall guest satisfaction.
• Clear and reset banquet room between courses and functions.
• Abide by state, federal and hotel alcohol service rules.
• Be available to work regularly and attend assigned events.
• Other duties as assigned.
