Job summary

Accor seeks a Banquet Associate to support event service, setup and guest experience at our luxury properties in California. You will assist directors and managers, set up rooms and bars, and deliver attentive service for diverse events.

Role emphasizes wine and beverage handling, POS usage, and adherence to safety and health guidelines. On-call schedule, $16.90 per hour plus tips, and opportunities to grow within the Accor Heartists program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hotel or luxury restaurant experience.
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings for outlets.
• Californian liquor regulations compliance awareness.
• Basic math for POS and payments.

Responsibilities

• Follow banquet directors' instructions and assist F&B teams.
• Set up meeting rooms and event spaces per client format.
• Assist with bar setup, beverage prep and service during events.
• Clear and reset tables, restock utensils and glassware.
• Operate POS and handle credit card payments during events.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and health guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and staff.
• Prepare equipment and buffet setups according to client requirements.
• Ensure guests' well being and timely service throughout events.
