Job summary

Northeast Concessions, LP - Wilkes-Barre is seeking team members to work special events on the patio, racetrack apron, banquet facility, and more. You will serve courses from the banquet kitchen and service bars, garnish dishes, and ensure guests are greeted and attended to throughout service.

Candidates must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience). On-call shifts up to 8 hours or longer may be required, with a focus on guest service and responsible alcohol

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED; or one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve courses from banquet kitchen and service bars.
• Garnish and decorate dishes.
• Observe guests to respond to requests and determine when meals are completed.
• Totals bill, presents check, accepts payment, and makes change.
• Ladle soup, prepare salads, desserts, coffee; perform other duties as required by the establishment’s size.
• Check identifications for guests who appear under 30 years old when serving alcoholic beverages.
• Provide assistance to other servers by taking orders from their tables and delivering them.
• Perform side duties such as rolling silverware, restocking items, cleaning, and resetting counters or tables.
