Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in food service or banquet serving preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in banquet or catering service environments.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to carry trays and lift up to 25 pounds safely.
• Familiarity with POS systems or order tracking software.
• Certification in food safety or hospitality training.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to on-call requests to staff banquet events as needed.
• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, adhering to established service standards.
• Assist with clearing tables and resetting rooms between courses or events to maintain cleanliness and order.
• Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of service throughout the event.
• Maintain awareness of guest needs and respond proactively to requests or concerns.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.

The role demands collaboration with kitchen staff, event coordinators, and fellow servers to maintain high standards of food presentation and guest satisfaction.
