Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a banquet server to provide attentive, high‑quality service at banquets and catering events. You will assist with setting up function rooms, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.

This role may require working nights, weekends, and holidays. Gratuities are possible, and you will follow Sonesta Service Standards to deliver exceptional guest service.

What this role is all about

Serve meals to patrons for banquet and catering functions.

What you'll be doing

• Always Adhere to Stay Safe with Sonesta safety guidelines.
• Prepare function room for banquet function; set tables and place settings.
• Serve drink of choice to guests.
• Garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
• Suggest desserts, beverages and after dinner drinks.
• Ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee and perform other services as needed.
• Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course.
• Adhere to Sonesta Service Standards.
• Adhere to all Sonesta Safety and Sanitation Standards.
• May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties or projects as requested by management.

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

$10.39 to $11.39 base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience. This position is eligible for gratuities.
