Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Banquet Captain in Denver, CO. You will oversee setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, coordinating with the Banquet Manager to ensure high guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include supervising banquet staff, managing schedules, and maintaining equipment and supplies. This role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple events with professionalism.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in banquet or event management, preferably supervisory.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple events and adjust as needed.
• Know-how of banquet setups, service standards, and safety rules.
• Proficient with POS and event management software.
• Able to stay calm and positive in busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous service at all banquet events.
• Ensure timely setup of function rooms per event specs.
• Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
• Supervise servers, bartenders, and support staff.
• Coordinate event schedules and handle last-minute changes.
• Ensure clean storage and maintenance of equipment after events.
• Coordinate with clients during events to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in setting up rooms according to requirements.
• Collaborate with kitchen and other departments for smooth flow.
• Conduct pre-event staff briefings with event details.
