Job summary

Marriott Milwaukee West is seeking an on-call Banquet Bartender for part-time evening events. You will prepare and serve beverages to guests, follow brand standards, and maintain a clean, safe bar area. Strong customer service and knowledge of liquor laws are essential.

The role requires TIPS certification or ability to obtain it, plus 1+ year of bartending experience and fluent English for guest interactions and paperwork.

Qualifications

• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification required or obtainable.
• One or more years of bartending experience or Bartender certification.
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, speak English to meet guest needs and complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide beverage service in a friendly, professional manner.
• Take and fulfill beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate bar equipment and POS system.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and liquor laws.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and inventory; assist with setup and breakdown.
• Assist with guest satisfaction and revenue generation through upselling.
