Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI is seeking a Part-Time Banquet Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service at weddings, conferences, and events. In a fast-paced, guest-facing role you’ll prepare and serve drinks, engage with guests, and help ensure bar operations run smoothly during banquet functions.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, familiarity with POS systems, a valid bartender license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending experience, banquets or high-volume preferred
• Experience with POS systems in a restaurant or event environment
• Valid Bartender License (City of Delavan or ability to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and bar operations
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume event setting
• Professional, outgoing demeanor with responsible alcohol service knowledge
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional bar service during banquet events
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes
• Set up banquet bars based on event orders and BEOs
• Stock bars with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice and supplies
• Verify guest age and ensure responsible service per laws and policies
• Operate POS to open/close tabs and process payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations
• Collaborate with barbacks and banquet staff for efficient service
• Monitor inventory, perform liquor counts, report accurately
• Break down bars after events and return equipment to storage areas
• Follow safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
• Provide engaging on-stage presence while staying professional
