Job summary

Stantec is seeking temporary/on-call Archaeological Field Technicians to support projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, mainly Maryland and Virginia. The role involves field surveys, testing, excavation, and monitoring under supervision, with frequent travel and overnight stays.

Responsibilities include recording soils, mapping sites, identifying artifacts and cultural features, managing field equipment, and assisting in the laboratory when indoors.

Responsibilities

• Manage field equipment and assist in the laboratory when indoors.
• Travel extensively, including overnight stays.
