Job summary

John Knox Village Limited in Lee's Summit is seeking an Appliance Repair Technician to assemble, move and install appliances, repair residential and commercial equipment, and troubleshoot electrical wiring. You will support residents and staff and handle parts lookup using a computer.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with trade training, EPA certification, and a valid Missouri Class E license within 30 days.

Qualifications

• This position requires HS diploma or GED with trade training.
• EPA Level I or II certification is required.
• Missouri Class E license within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years of residential or commercial appliance repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents and staff to complete repair work orders.
• Repair and troubleshoot commercial kitchen equipment and install new units.
• Repair residential appliances and install new appliances as needed.
• Use computer to locate parts for repairs.
• Maintain and repair domestic and commercial appliances.
• On-call for emergencies, rotating weekends/evenings.
