Job summary

Tipton Asset Group in Richardson, TX is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to maintain the apartment complex and ensure a positive resident experience.

You will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, responding to emergencies, and performing general upkeep across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting. A candidate with a High School diploma and HVAC certification, plus 3+ years’ experience, is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of maintenance experience and HVAC certification.
• Must provide own tools.
• Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Perform grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping.
• Assist with various maintenance tasks: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance.
