Job summary

Metropolitan Airports Commission is seeking a temporary on-call Airport Maintenance Worker to support field operations during irregular or high-demand events. Work includes snow and ice control, grounds maintenance, and general cleanup across air operational areas and public spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Possession of a valid state-issued CDL or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of contingent offer.
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Outdoor work required in variable weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow and ice control and other grounds maintenance tasks.
• Operate airport maintenance equipment as trained (tractors, mowers, plows, etc.).
• Perform waste disposal, cleaning, and general upkeep in air operations and public areas.
• Assist in fencing, sign installation, and gate maintenance as needed.
• Support other trades and contractors on site as assigned.
