Job summary

Henry County Schools seeks an Afterschool Enrichment Program (ASEP) Instructor to develop and lead a range of academic and recreational activities for students after school. The role is on an on-call basis, with responsibilities including attendance tracking, supervision, and coordination with the Site Coordinator.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or HSE, CPR certification, and the ability to work reliably on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or state-approved High School Equivalency (HSE) is required; college credits are preferred.
• CPR certification must remain current.
• Experience with special needs students is preferred.
• Successful completion of required training within first year and annual refreshers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement a variety of academic and recreational enrichment activities for students.
• Maintain daily attendance reports for assigned students.
• Coordinate activities with the Site Coordinator's schedule.
• Supervise students and remain in the program area during assigned hours.
• Maintain behavior management and ensure safety during activities.
• Arrange substitutes when absent.
• Maintain confidentiality of school information.
