Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking an ASEP Associate to supervise and develop students in the After School Enrichment Program. The position involves engaging activities for pre-K and school-age children, ensuring their safety, and supporting their academic progress.
Critical responsibilities include preparing lessons, maintaining playground safety, and coordinating snacks. The role requires flexibility to work extra hours in emergencies and effective communication with parents.
The ASEP Associate, under general supervision, performs complex work with minimal decision-making discretion related to the supervision and development of students enrolled in the After School Enrichment Program (ASEP). Position provides daily nurturing and enriching experiences for pre‑K and school‑age children, supporting academic progress while ensuring safety procedures and good behavior are maintained. Employee performs school‑based work to carry out Board of Education policies under the direction of the ASEP Site Coordinator.
