Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Completion of vocational training as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.
• Current Georgia AEMT certification.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
• AHA/ARC PALS or PEARS certification within 9 months.
• CPT training within 9 months of hire.
• FAST-ED stroke scale or obtained within three (3) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional emergency treatment in the pre-hospital setting.
• Primarily treats and transports the sick or injured.
