Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to provide pre-hospital emergency medical care and patient transport. You will carry out emergency assessments, initiate care, and coordinate with EMS teams to deliver timely treatment in the field.

The role requires completion of AEMT training, current AHA/ARC BLS, and ongoing certifications. Expect an on-call expanded shift with rapid response requirements across service areas.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED; completion of an AEMT vocational training program.
• Current Georgia AEMT certification and valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification; PALS/PEARS within 9 months; CPT training within 9 months; FAST-ED stroke scale within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional emergency treatment in the pre-hospital setting.
• Treat and transport the sick or injured.
