Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED; completion of vocational training as an AEMT.
• No prior experience required.
• Current Georgia AEMT certification; valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Current BLS certification from AHA/ARC.
• PALS or PEARS certification within 9 months of hire.
• CPT training within 9 months of hire.
• FAST-ED stroke scale or completion within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional emergency treatment in the pre-hospital setting.
• Treat and transport the sick or injured as assigned.
