Job summary

National EMR consistently seeks talented and hardworking individuals who are eager to assist impacted communities and first responders on an "as needed basis" as reservist employees. Reservists YOU are part of an elite, all-hazards response cadre who are available to work intermittently, commit to working when needed, and travel/deploy within 24-48 hours.

The cadre plays a key role in keeping National EMR ready to deploy the right people in an emergency management situation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current EMT-Intermediate or Advanced EMT certification or license; Texas preferred if not primary residence.
• Must be willing to obtain additional licenses/certifications as needed by mission locations.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary teams and maintain professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to National EMR policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Foster safe work culture and report safety concerns up the chain of command.
• Maintain active status in agency platforms and complete required training.
• Provide medical support or transport services per mission assignment.
• Deliver patient care at appropriate certification level per medical protocols.
• Recognize signs of abuse or neglect and document procedures accordingly.
• Participate in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
