Job summary

Telecare Corporation’s Heritage Psychiatric Health Facility in Oakland seeks an RN Supervisor to oversee safe administration of medications, nursing care, and treatment planning in a 26-bed acute psychiatric setting.

This on-site role requires a valid RN license in California, CPR/BLS, CPI and First Aid certification, and supervisory experience. Starting pay ranges from $65.45 to $80.85 per hour, with union protections and location-based differentials.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in the state of operation
• CPR/BLS certification and CPI and First Aid certification on date of employment
• Must pass post-offer physical, TB test, background checks, and licensure verification
• If driving, valid driver’s license and vehicle clearance

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Telecare mission, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with stakeholders
• Organizes, prioritizes, and delegates shift workload
• Supervises designated staff and provides orientation and training
• Oversees nursing care and completes nursing assessments
• Assists in admissions and discharge processes
• Maintains therapeutic relationships and participates in treatment planning meetings
• Coordinates admissions to ensure accurate records and timely physician referrals
• Counts medications and provides shift reports
• Documents progress toward Recovery Plan goals
• Develops and implements nursing care plans
• Assists with restraint and crisis prevention training as needed
