Job summary

The Commander, Navy Installations Command Unaccompanied Housing program at Eglin Air Force Base, FL seeks a Building Manager to perform daily inspections of vacant rooms and common areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with UH rules.

Duties include escorting residents, coordinating maintenance and repairs, monitoring security, and providing quality customer service to internal and external customers, while upholding privacy and program policies.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of work experience demonstrating knowledge of customer service principles.
• Must be skilled in use of a personal computer and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must possess basic math and reading skills.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Escort new residents to their unit or room and help orient them to furnishings and amenities.
• Coordinate and monitor maintenance requests and routine upkeep of rooms and common areas.
• Conduct daily facility assessments of exterior, grounds, and all common spaces.
• Verify that vacant or unassigned units are ready for occupancy and report issues.
• Ensure security and privacy of residents and enforce UH policies.
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers.
