Job summary

Bonneville Seattle is seeking a skilled Board Operator to manage the technical side of live news and talk shows. You will operate the studio console, ensure clean on-air delivery, and maintain accurate transmitter and program logs.

You will edit daily podcasts, communicate with hosts and producers, and support newsroom and digital content efforts while adhering to FCC requirements. This on-site role offers growth within a respected broadcasting team.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team.
• Strong attention to detail and on-air deadlines.
• Basic production skills and willingness to learn studio equipment.

Responsibilities

• Owns shift on-air console operations and maintains logs.
• Edit and post podcasts; ensure problem-free audio before air.
• Provide cues to talent for program continuity and accuracy.
• Screen calls professionally and manage shows’ audio mix.
• Coordinate music/sound levels and cross-train across shifts.
• Assist producers in creating varied content and best-of libraries.
