Job summary

Radio One in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Board Op/Producer to create and execute production and on-air content for daily shows. You will operate the control board, coordinate digital and social media content, and edit material for on-demand listening.

The role requires strong technical skills, flexibility to work long hours including overnights, and a college degree is preferred but not mandatory with at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operate the control board and screen callers.
• Direct content flow and execution of all audio elements.
• Produce daily show promos and weekly Best-Of programming.
• Edit and post show material for on-demand listening.
• Brainstorm creative ideas with host and Program Director.
• Direct on-air talent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
