Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate in Shoreline, WA. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You will engage customers in the Rewards program, assist with omnichannel services (BOPIS/SFS), and participate in truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery to maintain well-merchandised, in-stock aisles.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes: Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Support store recovery, in-stock levels, and merchandise returns/go back process.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
