Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes Counties in Ohio is seeking an OMJ Lab Instructor to guide job seekers at the OhioMeansJobs Lab. You’ll provide training, support, and workforce readiness to help clients gain employment skills.

You’ll lead workshops, conduct mock interviews, assist with resumes, and help clients navigate their OhioMeansJobs accounts, while coordinating with Goodwill and OMJ staff. The role emphasizes teamwork and client-centered service.

Qualifications

• College degree in a Human Services–related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability, or reliable transportation
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening

In this role, you’ll work directly with job seekers at the OhioMeansJobs Lab, providing guidance, support, and training to help individuals gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workforce.

PLEASE NOTE: this role will be a Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes County Employee, but the actual work location is in the OMJ Lab at Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS).
