Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is seeking a Digital Skills Instructor to lead engaging digital literacy workshops for employees and community members. This full-time, hourly position requires travel within the ten-county service area, with home locations in Canton, OH or Middleburg Heights, OH at one of our offices.

You will develop curricula, run workshops, and tailor instruction for diverse learners while tracking progress and outcomes.

Formación

• Experience teaching, coaching, or training in digital skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive) and smartphones.
• Able to learn Goodwill's retail technologies, learning management platform, and client case management system.
• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, or people with barriers preferred.
• Clear communication with participants, colleagues, and community partners, and the ability to earn people's trust.
• Able to document program activities in written reports and other media.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and on a team.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.

• Operate and oversee the Mobile Tech Learning Lab (MTLL)
• Attend required meetings and trainings
• Follow all safety and confidentiality policies

Location: OH | Pay: $19.50 | Type: Hourly, Full-time

As a Digital Skills Instructor, you'll run engaging digital literacy workshops for Goodwill employees and community members. You'll also support participants so they can keep learning and moving forward. This position will require travel within the 10-county territory that we serve. Qualifications

• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, or people with other barriers preferred
• Clear communication with participants, colleagues, and community partners, and the ability to earn people's trust
• Able to document program activities in written reports and other media
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and on a team
• Bachelor's degree in education, computer science, information science, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, three years of experience teaching digital skills and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Valid driver's license with five or fewer points, and auto insurance
