Job summary

The Santé Group is seeking licensed or license-eligible therapists to join our outpatient team in Silver Spring, MD on a fee-for-service basis. You will provide individual, family, and/or group therapy with flexible caseloads, aiming for up to 40 direct hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active Maryland license in one of the specified categories (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMSW, LGPC).
• Commitment to person-centered, recovery-oriented care.
• Strong documentation practices and comfort with electronic health records.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform danger and crisis assessments and develop initial treatment plans.
• Conduct on-scene assessments and formulate crisis plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Make appropriate referral recommendations using community resources.
• Address needs across children, adolescents, adults, dual-diagnosis and elderly populations.
• Collaborate with families to de-escalate crises and implement treatment plans.
• Document interactions using CRS procedures.
• Coordinate with first responders and understand related cultures.
• Engage in required trainings and supervise interns/new staff.
• Educate community about the agency and CRS components.

About the Role

Affiliated Santé Group, a CARF-accredited nonprofit behavioral health organization, is seeking licensed and license-eligible clinicians to join our outpatient team on a fee-for-service basis. You’ll provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to clients across our community-based programs, with the flexibility to build a caseload that fits your schedule, up to 40 hours of direct session time per week.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in performing a danger assessment, a crisis assessment, an environmental assessment upon entry to the community situation and lethality assessment.


• Assist in performing an on-scene assessment and treatment plan.


• Effectively perform crisis intervention including de-escalation, crisis planning and implementation.


• Design appropriate referral recommendations using available community resources.


• Address population of child, adolescent, adult, dual-diagnosis, co-occurring and elderly.


• Work with families and involved people to de-escalate the situation, make a crisis plan, and enlist cooperation with recommended treatment.


• Document interactions using CRS procedures.


• Must be able to work with first responders and be aware of first responder culture.


• Must familiarize oneself with police codes and language.


• Participate in and complete all required training courses.


• Provide education in the community about the agency and all components of CRS when needed.


• Check work e-mail at the beginning and end of each shift.


• Provide mentoring to interns and new staff.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Needed:

• LCSW-C – Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical


• LCPC – Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor


• LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker


• LGPC – Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor

(LMSW and LGPC clinicians will receive free clinical supervision toward advanced licensure.)
