Job summary

Affiliated Santé Group in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a licensed and license-eligible OMHC Therapist to join our outpatient team on a fee-for-service basis. You’ll provide individual, family, and/or group therapy across community-based programs, with up to 40 hours of direct session time per week.

Requires Master’s degree in social work or related field and an active Maryland license (LCSW-C, LCPC, LMSW, or LGPC).

  • Commitment to person-centered, recovery-oriented care
  • Strong documentation practices and comfort with electronic health records
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a clinical team

Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing a danger assessment, a crisis assessment, an environmental assessment upon entry to the community situation and lethality assessment
  • Assist in performing an on-scene assessment and treatment plan
  • Effectively perform crisis intervention including de-escalation, crisis planning and implementation
  • Design appropriate referral recommendations using available community resources
  • Address population of child, adolescent, adult, dual-diagnosis, co-occurring and elderly
  • Work with families and involved people to de-escalate the situation, make a crisis plan, and enlist cooperation with recommended treatment
  • Document interactions using CRS procedures
  • Must be able to work with first responders and be aware of first responder culture
  • Must familiarize oneself with police codes and language
  • Participate in and complete all required training courses
  • Provide education in the community about the agency and all components of CRS when needed
  • Check work e-mail at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Provide mentoring to interns and new staff
  • Other duties as assigned

About the Role

Affiliated Santé Group, a CARF-accredited nonprofit behavioral health organization, is seeking licensed and license-eligible clinicians to join our outpatient team on a fee-for-service basis. You’ll provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to clients across our community-based programs, with the flexibility to build a caseload that fits your schedule, up to 40 hours of direct session time per week.


What You’ll Do:

Qualifications Needed:


  • LCSW-C – Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical

  • LCPC – Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

  • LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker

  • LGPC – Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor


(LMSW and LGPC clinicians will receive free clinical supervision toward advanced licensure.)
