Job summary

Affiliated Santé Group, a CARF-accredited nonprofit behavioral health organization, seeks licensed and license-eligible clinicians for outpatient therapy on a fee-for-service basis in Silver Spring, MD. You’ll provide individual, family, and group therapy with a flexible caseload up to 40 hours per week.

We hire at multiple licensure levels: LCSW-C, LCPC, LMSW, or LGPC. LMSW/LGPC receive free supervision toward licensure and supervision is provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active Maryland license in one of the categories above
• Commitment to person-centered, recovery-oriented care.
• Strong documentation practices and comfort with electronic health records
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a clinical team

Responsibilities

• Assist in danger, crisis, and environmental assessments and lethality assessment.
• Assist in on-scene assessment and treatment planning.
• Perform crisis intervention including de-escalation and crisis planning.
• Design appropriate referral recommendations using community resources.
• Address population across child, adolescent, adult, dual-diagnosis, and elderly.
• Document interactions using CRS procedures.
• Mentor interns and new staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

Affiliated Santé Group, a CARF-accredited nonprofit behavioral health organization, is seeking licensed and license-eligible clinicians to join our outpatient team on a fee-for-service basis. You’ll provide individual, family, and/or group therapy to clients across our community-based programs, with the flexibility to build a caseload that fits your schedule, up to 40 hours of direct session time per week.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in performing a danger assessment, a crisis assessment, an environmental assessment upon entry to the community situation and lethality assessment.
• Assist in performing an on-scene assessment and treatment plan.
• Effectively perform crisis intervention including de-escalation, crisis planning and implementation.
• Design appropriate referral recommendations using available community resources.
• Address population of child, adolescent, adult, dual-diagnosis, co-occurring and elderly.
• Work with families and involved people to de-escalate the situation, make a crisis plan, and enlist cooperation with recommended treatment.
• Document interactions using CRS procedures.
• Must be able to work with first responders and be aware of first responder culture.
• Must familiarize oneself with police codes and language.
• Participate in and complete all required training courses.
• Provide education in the community about the agency and all components of CRS when needed.
• Check work e-mail at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provide mentoring to interns and new staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Needed

We are hiring at multiple licensure levels. Candidates must hold one of the following active Maryland credentials:

• LCSW-C - Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical
• LCPC - Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
• LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker
• LGPC - Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor

(LMSW and LGPC clinicians will receive free clinical supervision toward advanced licensure.)

• Set percentage per completed session
• Fee-for-service structure with capacity for up to 40 hours of session time per week

Flexible scheduling within our hours of operation, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, that lets you control your own caseload
