Job summary

IDT, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Oligonucleotide Manufacturing Specialist to execute and optimize production of oligonucleotide products. You will serve as a technical resource for the production team and help drive on-time delivery and continuous improvement.

This is an on-site role in Sunnyvale, CA, reporting to the Production Manager. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field and 5+ years in manufacturing, with GMP/ISO awareness and SOP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with nucleic acid manufacturing or sequencing workflows; SOPs retention and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execute and troubleshoot oligonucleotide production workflows and related manufacturing processes.
• Train, mentor, and onboard new team members while upholding SOPs, safety and quality requirements.
• Lead or support investigations on process deviations, quality events, equipment issues, and CAPAs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using DBS tools to enhance yield and efficiency.
