Job summary

Stenger & Stenger, P.C. seeks an Attorney licensed in Oklahoma (near Oklahoma City) to join our growing retail consumer collections team.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in creditor’s rights and civil litigation and will contribute to all aspects of file generation and litigation. You will develop case strategy, manage dockets, negotiate settlements, leverage technology, and travel regionally to appear in Oklahoma courts.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree and Oklahoma Bar admission required.
• 1–3 years of creditor’s rights and civil litigation experience.
• Strong docket management and pleadings experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement case-level litigation strategy and zealously represent clients at court proceedings.
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to manage dockets, file pleadings, and ensure seamless case management.
• Negotiate settlements with defendants and opposing counsel; defend against counterclaims and escalating matters.
• Leverage technology to monitor legal changes and educate team for increased efficiency.
• Travel regionally to appear in courts throughout Oklahoma; maintain good standing with the Oklahoma Bar.
